The "NOW" classroom!

The transition from old modern day classrooms to newly found technology based classrooms has already taken place. Almost everything dealing with education ties in with some formal use of technology. We went from chalkboards to smart boards.  You wrote essays with paper and pencil and handed them to the teacher, now you type and email them.  At this rate, things can only elevate as far as how we use technology in the classroom.

How would my 21st century classroom look? I envision my classroom technology based as well as curriculum based. I will teach my students the required curriculum given by the state in order to pass their standardize test. I plan to also tie in the required curriculum in with technology. Almost everything you do in the world right now, you have to work with computers. Therefore if my students are not taught the fundamentally efficient with using technology , they will have a hard time in the workforce.

The decor of my classroom would be very vibrant and lively so that the students wont drift asleep. There will be posters showing examples of the different subjects I teach.

I will make my classroom to have such a productive environment that kids will come in pumped and ready to learn daily. My plans are for them to  just sit in class and listen to me lecture , but move around and do hands on activities. So that at the end of the day, they wont be drained and dreading doing homework but eager to do a small homework assignment showing me what they can do on their own.
